Primary & Urgent Care

Our out-patient and short stay general practice places a significant emphasis on preventative services through, for example, the promotion of appropriate vaccination programs and the provision of lifestyle advice. Using a series of rapid lab tests, the general practitioner department also focuses a huge amount of their attention on screening and early detection of diseases, including cervical, breast and prostate cancer, HIV and diabetes, malaria, hypertension and dyslipidemia.

We offer a walk-in service for urgent but not life-threatening medical treatment. Although not a trauma unit, our walk-in service caters for outpatient minor surgical procedures, injuries or illnesses that require immediate medical care but are not serious enough to require a visit to the hospital emergency services. The service is offered to patients who require urgent medical care but cannot get a timely appointment with their General Practitioner.
